  • If you know that you will need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. We are having many cancellations as we do our day-before reminder calls and we would like to try to mitigate that as we have a full client waitlist that would like a service.     Payment Method

    Cash or Venmo tips for your provider and cash payments on our services are appreciated to save money on credit card fees. Credit card payments will always be accepted as well. Venmo QR codes for each provider are available at the front desk. Thank you for helping our small business!

    Cancellation and No-Show Policy

    Please remember your appointment time is reserved especially for you. All same day cancellations including no shows will be charged the full session price. If you have a pre-payment, gift certificate, voucher or Massage Wellness Package the missed session will be forfeited. If you can't make your appointment, we encourage you to invite a friend or family member to take your place. Appointments rescheduled or cancelled by 5 PM the day prior to your scheduled time are not subject to our cancellation and no-show policy. You may contact us by calling or texting 919-651-9910 to reschedule or cancel. Emergency cancellations are determined at the owner’s discretion. 

    Client Sickness/Medical Self-Assessment

    If you can answer "yes" to any of the following questions, please reschedule your appointment. Have you or any member of your household had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100 degrees or above? Do you now have, or have recently had, any respiratory or flu-like symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath? Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 10 days who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 or has coronavirus type symptoms? Do you have any contagious conditions, such as cold, flu, pink eye, or other viral, bacterial, fungal or parasitic infections? Do you have a sunburn or other skin condition?

    Staff Sickness and Emergency Cancellations

    Our Massage Therapists and Estheticians work hard to serve you. Sometimes, they need to call out as they are sick, injured, or experiencing emergencies, such as a death in the family. Our policy is that no staff member can work while sick or not at 100% to serve you. We do our best to give you the most notice possible, try to get you in with another therapist same day, or get you rescheduled to your preferred therapist. We are always sorry for this inconvenience!

    New Clients: Health History Forms Needed

    New clients or if you haven't been in a few years, please print a health history form at our website to complete and bring with you or email it to reception@carymassagetherapy.com before your session. This is very helpful to do, so that your session can start on time.

    Gift Certificates, Vouchers, and Discounts

    If you are paying with a gift certificate, voucher, or one of our deals please make sure to have that handy. We will need these at checkout. Please note that our deals, discounts, and/or gift certificates cannot be combined and they may not be used for gratuity unless otherwise noted.

    Late Arrivals

    Sessions begin and end at scheduled times. Sessions begun late due to the client arriving late, end at the appointed time and are full price. Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment, if you need to fill out health forms.

    Must be 18

    Clients must be 18 years old to receive services. Minors may receive services by some of our providers with a parent present only.

    Pregnancy

    If you are currently pregnant, please make sure that you are booked for a Pregnancy Massage. Some of our Massage Therapists are not trained in Pregnancy Massage and they will not be able to provide your massage if you are booked for a different massage type. Please note that if you are booked for a Pregnancy Massage, your Massage Therapist is fully trained for your service.

    Directions

    Sometimes our location is difficult to find. If you are using GPS, you won't see the address on the street. At the end of your destination, look for the Maynard Office Center sign and turn into the center and find our building 1330. Building 1330, is the farthest back left corner building in the entire complex if you are standing on the street facing our complex. GPS takes clients around the back/bottom floor of our building but, we are located at the front/top floor of building 1330. There are no stairs to get to the top floor so you must drive back around the building to the top floor. There is a chalkboard sign in front of our door greeting you with our logo on it. Please call the reception desk at 919-651-9910 if you get lost and we will guide you in. 

    Client Hygiene Policy

    At Cary Massage, we strive to create a comfortable and relaxing environment for all clients and staff. To ensure the best experience, we kindly ask that clients arrive clean and free of strong odors, including body odor and the smell of marijuana or other substances. If a client arrives with noticeable odors that may affect the quality of service, we may need to reschedule the appointment.

    No Smoking or Vaping Policy

    For the comfort of all clients and staff, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside Cary Massage, including restrooms. We also ask that clients refrain from smoking or vaping directly in front of our establishment.
